Obituary: Charles Edward Grundy, 65, Bardstown

Charles Edward Grundy, 65, of Bardstown, died Wednesday, July 29, 2015, at his home. He was born May 25, 1950, to the late Jubber Hughes and Mary Alice Grundy. He was a meat cutter at Save-A-Lot and a member of St. Monica Catholic Church and St. Peter Claver.

He is survived by one son, Trevor Johnson of Bardstown; one sister, Mary Ann Redden of Bardstown; and a host of nieces and nephews.

A memorial Mass is 11 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 4, 2015, at St. Monica Catholic Church with the Rev. Jeff Hopper celebrant.

Visitation is 5-8 p.m. Monday, Aug. 3, 2015, at the church.

The Houghlin-Greenwell Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
