Chester Ray Weakley, 73, of Rineyville, died Thursday, Feb. 14, 2019, at his home in Rineyville. He was born in Mooresville to Cecil and Zelma (Harlow) Weakley. He was a diesel mechanic.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Marvin Weakley.
He is survived by his loving wife of 21 years, Soundra Weakley of Rineyville; two sons: Daniel (Marda) Weakley of Boston and Willie (Beth Ellen) Weakley of Willisburg; three stepdaughters: Tabatha (Bob) Ricketts of Radcliff, Marla (Philip) Hensley of Rineyville, and Sabrina (Leslie) Pickerell of Buffalo; one stepson, Dion (Rhonda) Engle of Radcliff; four sisters, Helen Holderman and Wanda Jones, both of Springfield, Alice Cornish of Oberlin, Ohio, and Emma Sue Bouquet of Waxahachie, Texas; two brothers: Clifton Weakley of Mount Washington and Donald Weakley of Springfield; 10 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren whom he loved very much.
The funeral is 2 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 19, 2019, at the Manakee Funeral Home of Elizabethtown with the Rev. Michael Willingham officiating. Burial is in the Rineyville Cemetery.
Visitation is 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday, Feb. 18, 2019, and 9 am. to 2 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 19, 2019, at the funeral home.
The Manakee Funeral Home in Elizabethtown is in charge of arrangements.
