Cloda “Gabby” Faye Whitworth, 77 of Shepherdsville, died Monday, Feb. 25, 2019, at Glen Ridge Health Campus with her family by her side.
She was a member of Cedar Grove Methodist Church, the Quilting Bee’s and a Graduate of Shepherdsville High School Class of 1959.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerome “Jerry” Lee Whitworth, whom passed away one day before her; her parents Willie Paul and Margaret Marie Thomas; and one brother, Cletus Dearl Thomas.
She was survived by one son, Paul Whitworth of Poplar Bluff, Mo.; one sister, Cleda Mae Parsley (David) of Corydon; one brother, Phillip Thomas (Carolyn) of Bardstown; and seven nieces and nephews.
The funeral is 11 a.m. Friday, March 1, 2019, at the Maraman-Billings Funeral Home in Shepherdsville with Bro. Carl Thomas officiating. Burial is in the Cedar Grove Cemetery.
Visitation is 2-8 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 28, 2019, and 9-11 a.m. Friday, March 1, 2019.
