Dennis Martin Mackin, 53, of Samuels, died Saturday, April 4, 2015 at University Hospital in Louisville. He was born Sept. 8, 1961, in Bardstown. He was co-owner of Mackin Wrecker Service and a 
member of St. Gregory Catholic Church.
He is survived by his daughters, Michelle, Megan, and Andrea; his parents, Francis “Happy” Mackin of Samuels, and Helen Livers Mackin of Morganfield; four sisters, Toni Woolsey, Terri Duncan, Carolyn Tapp, and Jacynthia Mackin; three brothers, Ken Mackin, Defraine Mackin, and Cody Mackin; and five grandchildren.
His Funeral Mass is 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 8, 2015, at St. Gregory Catholic Church with burial in the church cemetery with the Rev. Paul Eve officiating.
Visitation is 3-8 p.m. Tuesday, April 7, 2015, and 9-10:15 a.m. Wednesday April 8, 2015, at Barlow Funeral Home.
Memorial contributions may go to St. Jude Children’s Hospital or the Sisters of Charity of Nazareth.
