Leroy Nix, 78, of Louisville, died Saturday, April 4, 2015, at the Norton Hosparus Inpatient Unit in Louisville. He was retired from DuPont, where he worked in maintenance.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Sandra Nix; his parents, Holbert and Marandy Hall Nix; and one brother, Holbert Nix Jr.
Survivors include two daughters, Debra Mirick and Beverly Nolan; two sisters, Mary Ruth Day and Rosie Cranmer; four brothers, Ralph Nix, John Nix, Tommy Nix and James Nix; four grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Cremation was chosen by the family.
The Kappel Funeral Home in Boston is in charge of the arrangements.
