Marcus Tyler Maddox, 24, of Bardstown, died Friday, Feb. 24, 2023, at a friend’s home in Bardstown. He was born Nov. 28, 1998, in Bardstown to William Clyde Maddox Jr. and Stacey Hardin. He was an employee of Dairy Queen, loved his family, friends and sports and was a member of Willisburg Christian Church. He was so proud to have been a part of his son Jayden’s first basketball season.
He is survived by one daughter, Anaya Spalding of Bardstown; one son, Jayden Tyler Maddox of Bardstown; his fiance’, Alaysia Spalding of Bardstown; his mother, Stacey Hardin Mason of Bardstown; his father, William Clyde Maddox Jr. of Bardstown; two sisters, Jackie (Brian) Dunn and Chyenne Maddox, both of Bardstown; two brothers, Derrik Maddox and LaBryson Maddox, both of Bardstown; his maternal grandmother, Liz Hardin of Bardstown; and his paternal grandfather, William Clyde Maddox Sr. of Bardstown.
A Celebration of Life is 4-8 p.m. Thursday, March 2, 2023, at the Houghlin-Greenwell Funeral Home.
