Margaret Mae “Marty” Holcomb, 82, of Hodgenville, passed away July 29, 2026 at her home. She was a former retail manager for Dollar General Store and a member of Rolling Fork Baptist Church. She also taught art and crafts at St. Ann School, loved puzzles, fishing, and spending time with her family.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Evelyn Marie Phipps and a brother, George Bauer.
She is survived by her loving husband Donnie Holcomb; a son, Joey Holcomb; a daughter, Angie Holcomb-Brennan; two sisters, Mary Bauer and Emma Farley; six grandchildren, Mary Beth Brennan (Andrew Bailey), Darren Brennan (Trista), Andrea Brennan, Morgan Holcomb, J.T. Holcomb, and Maddie Holcomb; along with two great-grandchildren, A.J. Bailey and Raylen Brennan.
Funeral services will be held 7 p.m.. Thursday, Aug. 6, 2026 at the Rolling Fork Baptist Church, Boston, with cremation to follow. Friends may visit after 1 p.m. Thursday at the church. Joseph L. Greenwell Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.
