Nancy “Nana” Louise Newman, 68, died Thursday, July 2, 2015, at her home. She was born Dec. 22, 1946 in Canandaigua, NY.
She was a loving mother who was preceded in death by her father, Frank Badger.
Survivors include four daughters, Denise Kranz of Boston, Laura Ried-Newkirk of Louisville, Dr. Tina Tamaddon of Augusta, Ga., and Trisha Hoskins of Taylorsville; her mother, Arlene Ruth Garno Pioli of Boston; one brother, Keith Badger of Grass Valley, Calif.; 10 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and the father of her children, Dale Newman of Louisville.
A remembrance service is 6:30 p.m. Monday, July 6, 2015 at the Houghlin-Greenwell Funeral Home.
Visitation is 3-6:30 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
