April 30, 2012 — The Zoneton Fire Department is sponsoring the 2011 Mr./Ms. Zoneton Fire Pageant, May 19, 2012, at the Zoneton Fire Station, 5328 N. Preston Hwy, Shepherdsville.
This pageant is an official preliminary pageant to the Kentucky Festival State Pageant, and is open to any Kentucky resident.
The pageant will feature age divisions to include infants to adults, including:
Early Session: 1 p.m. (registration 12-12:45 p.m)
(Formal wear or Sunday best)
Mister 0-6 years
Baby Miss 0-11 months
Toddler Miss 12-23 months
Wee Miss 2-3 years
Tiny Miss 4-6 years
Little Miss 7-9 years
Afternoon Session: 5 p.m. (registration 4-4:45 p.m., formal wear only)
Pre-Teen Miss 10-12 years
Teen Miss 13-15 years
Miss 16-19 years
Ms. 20-27 years (Ms. entrants may be single or married)
Winners will receive a crown, sash and trophy. There will be two alternates chosen in each division. All winners and alternates advance to the 2011 Kentucky Festival State Pageant this November in Lexington. All contestants will receive a participation gift.
The entry fee for the pageants is $45; an additional $5 fee is required to compete for photogenic (must bring unframed photo). Optional categories will be offered for a $10 entry fee (hair, eyes, smile). Please make checks payable to Crusade for Children.
